Over forty guests including future residents, their families, dignitaries and representatives of local and federal government recently attended a ground-breaking ceremony for a new co-designed SDA High Physical Support home in Taylors Lakes.
Melbourne’s wet weather required the event to be held indoors, however this didn’t stifle the celebration. Attendees heard about the collaborative Illowra co-design process that has helped the three future residents Luke, Nick and Marty design their new home.
Luke, Nick and Marty are long term friends and expressed their excitement that construction has commenced and how they are looking forward to moving into their new home together. From the very beginning they have had significant input into the design of their new home through Illowra's collaborative co-design process. We are excited also and look forward to the day they can move in together.
